$5 makes a difference!

We're a New Jersey-based student coach group working with UPchieve, an online tutoring platform that provides free tutoring sessions to help low-income students with math, English, science, and more.

Our mission began with students providing academic assistance to their friends and peers. With a goal to reach more students, we began tutoring on UPchieve. Eventually, we started collaborating with UPchieve, and we are now a leading member of UPchieve's Changemaking Chapter Program, proudly supporting more than 300 students to date.

From UPchieve, we've learned that a single $5 donation can provide a student with free tutoring at UPchieve for an entire year, significantly improving their grades and even increasing their college enrollment rate by 3 times.

Expanding its groundbreaking impact on low-income students, UPchieve recently launched its partnership program with Title I schools in the U.S. (that is, at least 40% of the school population is eligible for free or reduced-price lunch).

Funding the partnership between UPchieve and one Title I school with 500+ students generally requires $2.5-2.6K. However, not all schools have that amount of money - and that's why we decided to help.

We plan to raise 2.6K to offer one entire Title I school a free partnership with UPchieve. That means, students and teachers will receive academic support at every step of the way - including progress reports, professional development sessions, and staff member visits - for free.

We encourage you to donate a minimum of $5, the amount needed to fund one student's entire year of free tutoring sessions on UPchieve. With about 520 people's donations, it will amount to our goal of 2.6K, transforming more than 500 students' academic journeys.
