Help Hezekiah during his recovery

To our loved ones and the community,

I'm reaching out to share with you that on Friday night on February 2nd, Hezekiah, a beloved bartender who was born and raised in San Diego, was removing a drunk patron from his bar. During this encounter, the unruly and intoxicated individual broke a glass which unfortunately resulted in a severe injury to his right arm. His brachial artery and medial nerve were completely severed.

This traumatic event could have had an even more tragic outcome if not for the presence of quick-acting EMTs in the bar, who provided life-saving care until paramedics arrived. Thanks to their swift actions and Hezekiah’s resilience, he is now on the road to recovery. However, the road ahead is long and challenging. Hezekiah will be unable to return to work for an extended period, affecting his livelihood and adding financial strain to his physical and emotional recovery.

Luckily, the individual responsible for this incident was apprehended the next day – his attempt to disguise himself proved futile against the vigilance of our community members. While justice is taking its course, our focus is on supporting Hezekiah through this difficult time.
