Hestia is a five-year-old domestic shorthair and a beloved member of our four-cat household. She’s feisty, opinionated, and has a special bond with her companion kitty, Honey. Yesterday, I noticed Hestia was unusually lethargic, so I made a vet appointment for her. But today, January 8th, I found her unresponsive and covered in vomit, which led me to rush her to the emergency vet.

At the hospital, we learned that Hestia had a wound that became infected and turned septic overnight. The news was devastating, and the estimated cost for her care is far beyond what we can afford. She’s now on fluids and antibiotics, and while she’s shown slight improvement, she still has a long and challenging recovery ahead of her.

All funds raised will go directly toward paying off Hestia’s vet bills, including her emergency care, medications, and any follow-up treatments she’ll need.
