Help Herschell With Epilepsy, Heart Disease & Permanent Mobility Disability
My name is Herschell Michel, and I am asking for help during one of the most overwhelming seasons of my life.
I have been medically certified as permanently mobility impaired, meaning my condition is lifelong and significant improvement is not expected. My mobility limitations are severe and continue to worsen.
I am currently battling multiple serious and life-threatening medical conditions, including:
Epilepsy with recurrent seizures
Severe muscle and bone pain following seizures
Lumbar spinal stenosis
Peripheral polyneuropathy
Cervical and lumbar radiculopathy
Coronary artery disease (CAD)
History of an ST-elevation heart attack (STEMI)
Aortic aneurysm
Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT)
Hypertension
Hyperlipidemia
Chronic arthritis
Recurrent fainting (syncope)
The seizures are physically traumatic and leave me with intense full-body muscle and bone pain that can last for days. My spinal stenosis and nerve damage cause severe lower back pain, leg weakness, numbness, and instability, making walking difficult and unsafe.
My heart conditions are especially serious. After suffering a heart attack and living with an aortic aneurysm and irregular heart rhythm, I face constant risk and fatigue. Everyday activities can feel overwhelming, and I must be extremely careful to avoid further complications.
Because of my worsening health, I am unable to work, which has created severe financial hardship. I am struggling not only with medical bills but also with basic necessities. Right now, I cannot afford:
Food
Hygiene and personal care products
Household utilities
A medically necessary wheelchair
A vehicle lift so I can attend medical appointments safely
Between ongoing specialist care, testing, medications, and daily living costs, my resources are completely exhausted. Managing epilepsy, heart disease, nerve damage, and chronic pain requires constant medical attention — this is life-sustaining care.
I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask for help just to survive day to day. But at this point, I truly cannot do this alone.
Any support will go toward:
Basic living expenses (food, utilities, hygiene needs)
A wheelchair for safe mobility
A vehicle lift for transportation to medical care
Ongoing medical bills and prescriptions Please consider donating and sharing my story. Every dollar helps so no matter how small the donation thank you .
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and stand beside me during this difficult fight.
With gratitude,
Herschell Michel
