Help Hermione with her medical costs

Hermione was born in June 2016 out on the streets of downtown Los Angeles California with her three siblings.   A loving Foster Organization rescued Hermione and two of her other siblings.
The first time we saw our sweet pup, we knew she was meant to join our family.
Hermione is gentle, kind and playful with a loving special relationship with all four people in our family, especially our Son and teenage Daughter.  Not to mention our cat Agatha who loves to play with her.
When Hermione didn't greet the sunshine with a tail wag to get her breakfast and outdoor fun time last Saturday morning, we knew that there was something wrong.  We rushed her to the vet and they ran bloodwork and diagnosed her with Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia.  Steroids and immune suppressants were given as we rushed her to the emergency room.   The vet told us her red blood cells were being attacked and if we didn't give her an immediate blood transfusion, she would die.  There was no choice for us.  A  dog donor was located for Hermione.  After the first transfusion, Hermione's red blood count was still too low.  She would need another transfusion.  Luckily our dog is small and only weights 12 pounds.  The second transfusion took and Hermione's red blood cells increased to better levels, (above 23%).  Two days after monitoring and care, we were able to take our beloved Hermione home.  She is on six different medications and requires constant supervision over the next 7 to 10 months.  She will need a blood test every week to see if her red blood levels are healthy as well as weekly checkups to be sure her condition doesn't worsen.  She is stable but not out of the woods.
My husband works as an audio engineer for concerts and events. He has been in the industry for over twenty-five  years.  For the first time,  he is completely unemployed.  He just lost his full-time job of over five years with the Disney Corporation last December due to covid-19.  He is currently looking for a job and accepting unemployment payments.
I work part time at a school as a Special Needs Aide.  My income helps but we are living day to day as it is.
Hermione's medical expenses are beyond what we can afford, but we didn't want money to decide if a family member lives or dies.  She deserves to have a happy healthy life.
Please donate and help us get Hermione healthy again!  Thank you so much!
