Mestre Hermes dedicated his life as a police officer in Rio de Jeniero, Brazil. When he was shot and injured in the line of duty, requiring him to have a donor kidney and lose the other, he was retired from law enforcement. This is when he redirected his life and began teaching Fadda Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu full time and began his own studio where he passes his knowledge on to others. He has accomplished great things in the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Here at Hero Way Strength and Conditioning, when we decided to start our own Jiu-Jitsu program, we researched different lineages and interviewed countless prospects and we discovered a jewel from Mestre Hermes school, Instructor Diego Moliarte, to help us open up the very first Fadda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program in the United States, here in Leander, Texas. Mestre Hermes, now a red and black belt, has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer after complications with his donor kidney and related medications. We are extremely grateful for what he has passed on to our Instructor Diego and his students and the chance that we have now to spread Fadda Jiu Jitsu throughout the United States. We want to do what we can to back him up in his fight to tap out this ugly disease! Please join us in contributing whatever you can to help us reach a larger goal!
