Help Heritage Woodwork restock their tool trailer
Nearly two weeks ago, our Farm, Stony Meadow, was broken into and vandalized, and with it the livelihood and well-being of our builders' business, Heritage Woodwork, was jeopardized. The intruders broke into our barn, our builders' (Amy Moore and Jason Moore) tool trailer and attempted to break into the log cabin we are all in the process of restoring. They stole over $50K worth of tools from Heritage Woodwork's locked and secured tool trailer and their Utility Terrain Vehicle--the Coleman side-by-side, from our locked and secured barn. This was a severe blow, but by God's grace, we are coming together and moving forward. Many of you have reached out and asked me how you can help. While a "Go Fund Me" campaign is not something I have ever done, Derek and I felt inspired to support our friends and colleagues at Heritage Woodwork who have been pouring out their hearts, minds and talent towards helping us recreate a very special cabin, which we hope to share with all of you someday soon. The picture I choose represents the core of what Heritage Woodwork can create--the frame of a log cabin. They use raw materials to create symmetry, balance and beauty. But Heritage Woodwork is so much more than the structures they create--they are a hardworking, honest, and godly team of men and women who truly desire to grow their business by serving those around them and partnering with many like-minded business owners who also conduct themselves with integrity. As you all may guess, insurance will only cover a portion of what they lost and can never pay for the trauma that they have gone through in this ordeal. If you feel so moved, please join me in raising additional funds to help them restock their tool trailer and maybe even buy another Coleman side-by-side.
