Help Hercules get trained and find his home

On December 30th a friend posted a photo of a dog dumped on the side of the road, they couldn’t stop at the time and I was on my way home and it was only a couple minutes out of my way so I said I’d go check on him. Long story short I got him in my car and brought him home. With no clue what to do with him I put him in a big cage downstairs to sleep till morning but he did not like being crated and we then found ourselves in a bigger predicament. The shelters were full and I was told to just release him but there was no way I could do that to him. He had been so sweet till we put him in the crate and I wanted to give him a fighting chance at a life so I contacted a dog trainer I know and he agreed to take him and do his full training course with him that will last 6-8 weeks and then he will be free to the right forever home ♥️
His training will cost $2,500 but I know it’s the only way to set him up with the right tools for a long happy life with someone.
His trainer sent me a photo today and this message
‘’Hercules is doing good! He’s a super sweet boy but feels very unsafe in his crate. Once he comes out he’s nothing but sweetness! He’s still shy and hesitant but I don’t blame him, I’d be too if someone dumped me on the side of the road. The day after I picked him up I went out and bought him bowls and a big ol bag of food and some treats. Needless to say he’s living like a king’’
