Help Me Care for Herbert’s Emergencies 

PLEASE NOTE:  
The funds previously raised through this GoFundMe have already been used for Herbert’s medical care and past emergencies. I keep this fundraiser open because Herbert’s medical needs are ongoing, and his routine care alone costs $900–$1,000 every month before any emergencies.

I pay $900-$1,000 a month to give Herbert the daily care he depends on, so this GoFundMe allows me to say yes to his many life-saving treatments and emergencies I couldn’t otherwise afford. It helps cover emergency medications, bloodwork, imaging, procedures, and emergency hospitalizations. 

Herbert is my entire world and is currently fighting small-cell lymphoma cancer, kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, heart disease, anemia, IBD, and megacolon. His care includes daily medications, IV fluids, monthly bloodwork, prescription food, tech visits, specialist visits, and frequent veterinary care.

Without emergencies, his routine care costs $900–$1,000 per month:
• $200 for prescription food (he eats double for weight gain) 
• $150 for IV fluids and it’s supplies
 • $250 for medications
 • $300 for his monthly vet exam for routine bloodwork
 • $300–$900+ every 3 months for internal medicine follow-ups

When emergencies happen, hospitalizations can cost $4,000–$6,000+.

I am disabled and on a fixed income, and I cannot manage these costs alone. Every donation or share helps me continue giving Herbert the care he needs and allows me to say yes when emergencies arise. Thank you for supporting my sweet boy.
