Help Herban Frequency stay in business!

Hi there! My name is Alexis Suhara and I am the owner and chef of Herban Frequency, a 100% vegan food truck/popup in Houston TX with Food Network recognition. We need your help FrEQfam as we need a NEW FOOD TRUCK!
I've struggled tremendously with posting this since August as I do not like to ask for help nor openly express my hardships but my passion to serve my city and customers who've I've grown to love overrides my pride.
Full transparency: we unfortunately had to let go our previous food truck immediately in April 2021 due to unethical issues with the original truck owner. Needless to say we were not prepared for that transition as we didn't have a choice but to remove ourselves from the situation and lose all of the money invested in the wrap, lights etc overnight.
We moved into a food hall May 2021 in which we were abruptly removed from late July 2021 without warning as we were in the middle of a work week. I was told via text that we had to cease operations temporarily for Hood/AC repairs (the lower level/Food Hall AC had been intermittently functioning properly since June) but my phone calls were no longer returned for a re-opening date. For the lack of a better word we became homeless with no home-base for Herban Frequency. Since April I have been working solo with help here and there to stay in business/afloat however we truly need our own space/truck to be able to thrive again to make the capital to employ more help and serve more people. This year has been a rocky, wild ride compounded by the pandemic & inflation. Since we no longer have a truck or solid location for our customers to find us, our sales have suffered immensely which is why we've posted this fundraiser asking for help.
I built Herban Frequency from the ground up since 2019 with humble beginnings starting in a 10x10 tent (which I am now back in). I am in charge of and operate everything from our social media accounts, graphic design, marketing, recipe development, cooking etc. I never received any bank loans, nor PPP/EIDL loans to no fault of my own but rather an accountant who did our application/paperwork incorrectly in which we suffered tremendously by not receiving the financial help like most small businesses. To add insult to injury, by the time I caught the accountant's errors and hired a new one, deadlines had passed. I've been at the end of my rope financially and at serious risk of losing everything I worked so hard to build these last 2.5 years. More importantly, I am at risk of not being able to do the one thing that I love...which is serving my community the best vegan food ever.
Our sole/soul purpose is that after you eat with us, your frequency and energy are elevated. Your day is better and brighter. You have the energy and motivation to do and be more. This is why we say #GetUrFreqOn. As a culture we’ve removed the emphasis and importance of a great meal crafted with love and what that can do for the human body & psyche. This is what makes us different…our intention and passion for being, exemplifying and serving up love in the form of curated, highly seasoned vegan cuisine. We have a lot of love to give and the overflow goes into the food. As I've explained many times before, cooking for my city is my meditation and therapy. Please google our reviews (5stars) for proof that the love is indeed felt by the people through our food.

We humbly ask that you donate what you can and in turn we will incorporate your name in the wrap design for our new truck. You will forever be a part of FrEQFam history as we wouldn't be here without your support! Please support us by purchasing food directly at one of our weekly pop up tent events. We will also offer a meal prep/catering menu this fall/holiday season as a means to be able to still serve our customers while we figure out our next move since weather will soon prevent us from popping up in a tent. We also started offering our pre-seasoned patties wholesale on our website
The new truck we've been quoted for is $121,000. We need the funds asap as it takes 2-3 months for a full build out. The goal is to "roll" into 2022 with a new truck. After going through so many trials and tribulations the past year, it's apparent that I must own my food truck as to not be at the mercy of others who couldn't care less about my customers & company in the end.
I know that everything happens for a reason especially the things that don't make sense initially but ultimately lead to a divine path (even though we ALL in one way or another are completely bewildered with world's state of affairs at the moment)
We are strong, we are resilient and we will come back BETTER.

Thank you for taking the time to read and if you've ever got your "FrEQon" with us, we thank you so much for supporting our dreams throughout the years. We know we will get through this rough patch...together. The only way to go from here is UP!
Thank you to EVERY FrEQfam member who has offered prayers and encouragement whether in person or social media throughout all of our recent transitions. Some of you all just knew I needed to hear that everything was going to be ok & for that I am forever grateful!
