In December 2023, I suffered a devastating stroke that left her entire left side immobile. Since then, life has become a daily struggle as I fight to regain independence and strength.

I urgently need support to cover:

• Ongoing physical and occupational therapy

• Transportation to and from therapy sessions

• Three weekly copays for essential treatments

Unfortunately, I do no have Medicaid. I have a Plan First, requires me to pay a $1,300 monthly deductible before any coverage begins—something I simply cannot afford. This means I am paying entirely out of pocket for all my medical needs.

After being in and out of rehab facilities, I now live with my son and his family. Therapy is not only helping my body heal—it’s also teaching me the skills I need to one day live independently again. The ultimate goal: to move into my own apartment and take care of myself with dignity.
