I want to share the story of an incredible young woman who has completely stolen my heart with her strength, determination, and passion for dance.

After a difficult start in life, she has spent the past year and a half rebuilding her future at a residential school hours away from home. That is where I met her and where I watched her rediscover her love for dance. What began as a way to heal has grown into an extraordinary gift.

This year, she has earned a spot on the full competition team, a huge milestone that will allow her to perform in group numbers, duets, and solos as part of a supportive dance family.

The only thing standing in her way is cost. The season comes with expenses for costumes, choreography fees, competition entry, and travel. As a first-year teacher, I wish I could cover it all myself, but I cannot do it alone.

She has already been accepted to college and is ready to take on the world. I just want her to finish her senior year doing what she loves most: dancing.
