My name is Elham, and I am raising funds for a young woman, Masouda, in Afghanistan who has endured unimaginable loss and hardship.

A few years ago, Masouda lost her beloved mother to esophageal cancer. While she was still coping with that grief, tragedy struck again—just two years later, her brother, who was her main source of emotional and financial support, also passed away from the same illness.

In a short span of time, she lost two of the most important people in her life.

After her brother’s passing, Masouda took on the full responsibility of caring for his four young daughters. The children’s mother left them behind and remarried, and is no longer part of their lives. With no other family able to support them, the girls now depend entirely on Masouda for love, care, and stability.

Despite her own grief, she has shown incredible strength and compassion in raising them.

But their situation has recently become even more devastating.

A recent earthquake in their region destroyed their home, leaving them without a safe place to live. They have lost the little security they had and are now facing daily challenges just to survive.

This fundraiser is to support Masouda and the four girls during this extremely difficult time. The funds will go towards:

• Rebuilding or repairing a safe place to live

• Providing food and daily essentials

• Supporting the care, education, and future of the four young girls

• Covering urgent living and basic needs
