My co-worker, Bob B. has a daughter-in-law who has stage 4 cancer that has progressed beyond being able to be treated. She has been given a prognosis of 6 months or less. For her protection, she does not want her personal information shared online. Thankfully, she has medical coverage such that she is not burdened by overwhelming medical bills. Bob's family is seeking assistance in trying to make the time she has left as enjoyable as possible by taking her to local amusement parks and relaxing sites while she is still physically able.

The burden on the family has been an emotional roller coaster. The daughter in-law was diagnosed less than 6 months ago with stage 3 cancer. They have dealt with the side effects of chemo and radiation. She has been in and out of the emergency room several times in this short time. Last month, they were given the devastating news that she is now stage 4 and that the doctors recommend stopping treatment.
