Help a 10-Year-Old Girl Get the Treatment She Needs to Stay

From the moment she was born, her life has been shaped by medical challenges she never chose.
Because of a hereditary condition in her family, she was born with serious medical complications that required early surgeries and constant medical care. Now just 10 years old, while most children her age are focused on school, friends, and play, her days are spent moving between hospitals, treatments, and doctor visits.
Over time, doctors discovered that her immune system cannot function properly on its own. To stay alive and stable, she relies on a specialized treatment called IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) — a life-saving therapy made from donated human plasma that helps support the immune system.
This is not a one-time treatment.
She needs IVIG regularly to survive.
⸻
Why This Is So Difficult
IVIG is one of the most expensive immune therapies in the world.
Each infusion can cost thousands of dollars, especially when hospital stays, monitoring, and repeat doses are required. Because she is frequently hospitalized and needs ongoing care, the medical costs continue to grow every day.
She lives in Egypt, where access to IVIG is limited and the medication is often difficult to obtain. Even when it is available, the cost of treatment and hospital care places an overwhelming financial burden on families caring for a child who requires ongoing infusions.
Her family has done everything they can. They have exhausted their savings and explored every option available to them, but the financial burden of long-term treatment is far beyond what they can manage alone.
