Help Nancy beat breast cancer
Donation protected

On June 2015, my sister was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. It was a long, difficult journey for her and everyone around her. With the help of our amazing family and friends she was able to defeat it. She had double mastectomy. Unfortunately, remission only lasted a year and four months. On December 2017, ( a day before her birthday) she was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 breast cancer.
The first time around she was unable to work for a year because of her chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Sadly, this time after 14 years of devoting herself to teaching and at the age of 43, she had to retire. My sister, along with her husband and four kids are fighting this battle again, but this time only on one income.
Local Doctors were not giving her the best outcome, but since she is a fighter she went elsewhere for a second opinion. Although she will be in treatment indefinitely, they have her hope. Not only is there the stress of fighting this battle but also the stress of making ends meet. There are times that she feels a mix of emotions as her family cannot count on her income anymore.
As a family, we have been by her side every step of the way, and I know she has amazing friends that have been there for her. Bills keep piling up, which is taking a toll on them.
On behalf of my family, and many friends, I am asking for donations to relieve some of the financial burden so she can focus on winning this battle.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you are able to donate, any amount helps and will be greatly appreciated.
Please keep Nancy and her family in your prayers and help us spread the word.
