Henry is a sweet, always loving, adventurous, and intelligent little boy. September 30th gave our family the scare of our lives. On our weekly trip to the library with Mom, he suffered a spontaneous medical episode. Henry had a seizure that lasted five minutes and had to be rushed in an ambulance with lights and sirens from the Smyrna Library to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville. He just turned 3 and he was the bravest boy. He was patient and held so still for all his tests, like the CT scan and EEG. He repeatedly told his Mommy and Daddy that he loved them and showed all the nurses and doctors in the Pediatric Emergency Room just how special and lucky they were to get to know Henry Farnsworth.

The foreseeable future holds many changes for Henry, more tests, more doctors, and emergency seizure medications. All of which he has taken in stride with the maturity of a far older person. He talks about his ride in the ambulance all the time and says he was sad to be sick but happy that the doctors helped him. He is such an amazing human for the depth of understanding he took from this moment.

Unbeknownst to Henry, our family is now saddled with a hefty amount of hospital bills and medical debt to come in the next few months. We are asking for help so that our plans to purchase our 1st home this year are not derailed by this unexpected emergency. We know Henry deserves a fenced-in backyard of his very own to play T-ball or toss a ball for his beloved doggies, Ginny and Bulma. We would be forever grateful if this medical emergency could be one less burden that puts that dream for our family and Henry on hold.
