If you’ve ever lived in our building, visited, or just walked by, chances are you’ve met Henry — our sweet, friendly apartment cat who thinks everyone is his best friend. He’s not just “a” cat… he’s our cat.

Henry is 12 years old and has lived in these apartments his entire life. When his original owner moved away and left him behind, Henry stayed — because this was all he knew. Over the years, we became his family. He’s been a constant presence here: greeting neighbors, curling up in laps, and making even the rough days a little brighter.

Recently, Henry developed what’s called a hot spot wound, which can happen for many reasons. Unfortunately, his has been stubborn and painful, requiring multiple vet visits, treatments, and ongoing care. So far, we’ve had 5 vet visits and, even with monthly insurance, the out-of-pocket cost has already reached $450 — with another $100+ expected soon for more treatment, medical wipes, and anything else he may need to recover fully.

Henry is loved by all of us, but especially by his primary caretaker, who has been doing everything possible to keep him comfortable and healing. With times being tough, it’s hard to ask for help — but Henry means so much to us, and we want to make sure money is never a barrier to his care.
