Help Henry Save Bats in Mercer County

Support Bat Conservation in Mercer County, NJ!
My son Henry and I are residents of Lawrence Township, NJ. He is entering his senior year of high school. He is working on a community service project in an area that he cares greatly about—bat conservation.
Bats play an important role in ecosystems, such as pollination and seed dispersal, pest control, ecosystem balance to maintain food web stability, and fertilization of soil.
Bat populations are declining. Bats face threats such as habitat loss and white-nose syndrome, a fungal disease killing millions. Many species are endangered, and their slow reproduction rates make recovery difficult.
Henry will install new bat houses in Mercer County, NJ. Mercer County has made great strides in bat conservation, and several bat houses have been installed throughout public areas in our towns. Henry would like to contribute to the effort within our local community. He is currently scouting residential and public locations to install bat houses. He will work with each property owner to select the proper size, style, and mounting/assembly specifications for identified locations, and will handle installation.
Please support Henry's project. Estimated costs per site for the bat house and installation materials can range from $100-300. Henry already has 3 ideal locations identified, and a list of new inquiries to follow up with. He will install as many bat houses as he is able to afford. If you wish to contribute to Henry's project, any donation will be of great help. Thank you!
