Help Henry get life saving surgery!

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved cat, Henry. He has been diagnosed with a prolapsed anus, this has been an ongoing medical issue where he has had numerous trips to the vets. I have paid for two smaller surgeries where a purse stitch was placed over the anus in an attempt to stop the prolapse. However, both these surgeries have failed!

He now urgently needs a bigger more intensive surgery to prevent the anal tissue from becoming necrotic and leading to more severe medical complications or potentially even death. His prolapse has been consistently out now for a week, if he cannot have the surgery soon - we are looking at worst case scenario where he would have to be euthanised.

Asides from his anus, he is a perfectly healthy and happy cat and it would break our hearts to put down an animal that we could so easily make healthy again with just one surgery!

Henry isn’t just a pet—he is family. From the moment I got him, he has brought endless love, joy, and companionship into my life. Watching him suffer is heartbreaking, and I want to do everything I can to make sure he gets the care he needs.

The cost of the surgery, along with medications and post-op care, is more than I can manage alone. The estimate from the vet is £2,500 and every little bit helps.
