Henry is an 11-week old golden retriever that we picked up on August 28th in Iowa. He was acclimating to our house well and was hopefully going to work towards being a certified therapy dog once he turns 1.

on Wednesday Henry was diagnosed with Parvo and we were told he is in critical condition and we needed to get him to the hospital immediately. He is at Thrive Hospital in Hoffman Estates. He has been there for 2 days and thankfully has not had any downward movement.

Henry is still currently vomiting, he has bloody diarrhea, and is not interested in eating any food at the moment. Because he needs to stay longer we are struggling with the bill. I did not activate the 30-day free insurance that was offered due to oversight, so we are stuck paying out-of-pocket for all the expenses. They are still providing care and we get updates twice daily at the minimum.
