Help Henry and His Family Fight T-Cell Leukemia

On Christmas Day 2024, Henry, a sweet and spirited eight-year-old, was taken to the ER by his mom, Christine, for swollen lymph nodes in his neck. That same evening, their world turned upside down when Henry was transferred to Nationwide Children’s Hospital and diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

Just two days later, Henry began his first round of chemotherapy. He bravely spent eight days in the hospital before being discharged on January 3rd. While Henry is now home, his journey is far from over. He will travel to Columbus every Friday for chemotherapy and undergo countless other tests and appointments as part of his treatment.

Henry is the youngest of three brothers—Tyler, Owen, and himself. His mom, Christine, is self-employed, and his dad, Lee, works hard to support the family. They live in the small town of Miller City. The financial strain of medical expenses, weekly trips to Columbus, and lost work hours has been overwhelming.
