Henley is an emotional support dog for my oldest daughter who suffered a traumatic brain injury her sophomore year of High School. Henley has only been with our family for one month, and my daughter saved every penny from her job to buy this puppy.

Just last Sunday, on a simple jog in the neighborhood, Henley slipped and fractured her humerus. In order to repair the fracture, she has to undergo a complicated surgery this Tuesday, May 4th...and there is even a chance that they will have to amputate if the fracture is too severe. We just want Henley to have the best chance to heal and adapt to whatever the new reality will be. And I want Henley to be able to grow into her role as an emotional support dog because...well because if you met her, you'd know she was born for it! :-)
