My dog Hendrix has been diagnosed with MMVD—a degenerative heart disease. I know the horrors of this disease, having lost a dog to it in 2018 when there was no cure. In the past couple of years, a pioneering repair surgery called TEER (V-Clamp) has become available at Colorado University. This surgery clamps the leaking valve that causes heart failure. With this treatment, Hendrix stands a good chance of going on to live a normal, happy life without suffering the cruel fate of this disease.
I am an avid rescuer of dogs and cats and always aim to give them the love and care they need. Unfortunately, my finances are restrictive when it comes to Hendrix’s treatment. I would be so incredibly grateful if you can donate anything you can afford to his fund so we can give this sweetest boy the care he deserves. Any donations will go directly to his treatment for MMVD and surgery. Thank you so much!
