*Benjis vet is Green cross vet at smithfield, Cairns, QLD. Benjamin McInnes DOB 31/12/16.*
Meet Benji, my one and only true soul companion. Benjamin has been by my side through thick and thin and I can confidently say I owe my life to. This loving boy has spent his life spreading joy, saftey and bringing unconditional love and 'pat me' eyes to everyone he meets.

Rescued from a Gumtree giveaway as a puppy back in 2016, Benji stole hearts with his snuggles and playful spirit. He's grown into an extraordinary boy, with the most beautiful, loving, nurturing personality resulting in him fathering over 32 foster puppies and providing them comfort through their tough times, and loving them unconditionally back to health.

Our world was turned upside down today when Benji was diagnosed with aggressive Mast Cell cancer. This cruel disease has left him with painful, tumor-like lumps that are currently spreading through out his body and vital organs threatening to cut his life short.

Without immediate surgery and medical attention, Benji's life expectancy is a heartbreaking 2 weeks to 4 months. But we refuse to give up on him!
With a successful surgery veterinary staff should be able to removed all localised cancerous cells in hope we caught it in time before is has spred to far. Best case scenario resulting in a life expectancy of 5+ more beautiful, happy, pain free years with my beautiful boy.

Your support can give Benji the fighting chance he deserves and the fighting chance that I regrettably cannot soley financially provide at this point. Benji is my best bud and side kick and I truly don't know what life would be without him.

Please help us raise funds for this beautiful boy that just wants to keep on wagging.
Every donation, share, and expression of support counts toward giving Benji the fighting chance he deserves.

Edit 1: Benji's blood work has yielded positive results, with no detected abnormalities, indicating his spleen and liver are healthy enough for surgery to proceed. Ben ofcorse knows somethings up, staying by my side constantly for the last two days, but with a stroke of luck many lap-sitting years lie ahead of us ❤️
Thankyou so much to those who have donated and shared, you've shown Benji and myself how beautiful the world can be.
Edit 2: I have spoken with Benjis vet and they have okayed donations over the phone to be put onto Benjis account for those not wanting to donate via go fund me (which I completely understand.)

We went for an adventurous beach day yesterday and Benji had an absolute ball ❤️ it's so scary to think they can be so sick yet still so happy. ❤️

Edit 3: Today's the day! I've never seen my boy so scared, but I'm filled with hope. I just dropped him off and he's first in line for xrays and surgery. To everyone who donated and my amazing mumsys for covering the remaining costs of the hefty bill, thank you! Your generosity has given me a second chance with my bestfriend, my life, my light, my soul animal I'm eternally grateful to share many more years with him ❤️
Keep everything crossed
Edit 4: Just got news from the vet that Ben's lungs are clear and he's readdy to go ahead
