Help Helen's Cancer Treatment

Hello all! This fundraiser is being organized for Helen Gonzalez by her children. She is a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to so many. Known for her warmth and generosity, Helen has been an invaluable and cherished member of her church and community for many years. Helen has never hesitated to offer encouraging words, a home cooked meal, or a silly Instagram video to lift someone's spirits in their time of need.

We hope that those who know and love her will be able to help support and/or spread the word about this incredible woman, who is now fighting for her life.

In September of 2023, after a string of unexplained illnesses, Helen was diagnosed with gallbladder cancer. Just two weeks after this devastating news, she tragically lost her beloved husband, Tony. Days after saying goodbye to the love of her life, Helen began her first round of chemotherapy and has been fighting this disease with tenacity and bravery since.

Determined to live life to the fullest, Helen

decided to visit her daughter in New Zealand in March 2025. Since being there, the cancer has metastasized to her brain, and she is now hospitalized. We hope that her health will improve enough for her to be able to return home, but until then, she will be paying out of pocket for medical care abroad.

Funds from this campaign will go towards her medical bills and travel back to the United States.
