Help Helena Johnson Heal and Support Her Boys

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible sister-in-law, Helena Johnson. Helena is truly one of the sweetest, most selfless people I know. For nearly 20 years, she has welcomed me into her family with open arms, and her kindness and love have never wavered. She dedicates her life to raising her boys, and is always one of the first ones to help someone else in need.

Unfortunately, on January 21st, during the snowstorm that blanketed her area in Enterprise, AL, with an unprecedented 8 inches of snow, Helena suffered a terrible accident. While playing in the snow with her son, she slipped and fell, resulting in a complex fracture with dislocation in her ankle.

She underwent surgery on January 22nd, where doctors placed external hardware to stabilize the injury. Once the swelling subsides, she will face a second surgery in about two weeks to have permanent screws implanted. Right now, Helena is confined to her home, unable to walk and relying entirely on family and friends for care.

As a hardworking single mom, this injury has been devastating, both emotionally and financially. Helena’s medical bills will begin piling up, and her insurance coverage is inadequate. She will also be out of work for an extended period, leaving her with no steady income to support herself and her boys during this challenging time.

Helena has always been the first to step up and help those in need, and now it’s our turn to support her. We’re asking for donations to help ease the financial burden of her medical bills, daily expenses, and ongoing care so that she can focus on healing and getting back on her feet.
