Hi! My name is Helena Dryjanski and I am a 30 year old trans woman aiming to go to Rabbinical school! I converted to Judaism about two years ago now and it has brought me so much love, joy, and knowledge; and to be quite honest, it saved my life, in so many ways. Hence why I want to go into the Rabbinate: it is a five-year program through Hebrew Seminary, and the total tuition cost is $45,000. Barring any scholarship or other institutional help, I am hoping to raise that money to attend classes and become somewhat independent, as I have been unemployed for about 3 years as of the time I am writing this.
