Update:  We hate to say, but things turned out worst case for my baby girl. She went in to surgery on Friday and a couple obstructions were found from what she had ate, but that wasn’t even the worst part. Upon inspection they noticed she had liver cancer, which she never had any signs of cancer, but it had spread throughout her entire liver leaving barely any healthy tissue left. Because of the combined stress of cancer and obstruction we had to say goodbye to her last night. The vet told us it was completely coincidental that both things were happening at the same time and if she wouldn’t have ate something to cause the obstruction she would have only had a few weeks left. Everything was very shocking and we are in mourning. We now have the added cost of cremation as well as the surgery. If anyone wanted to donate still for that we would be extremely grateful. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. It means the world to me.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for our sweet girl, Heidi.

Heidi is a loving Doberman with a heart full of resilience. When my family rescued her from a shelter, she was severely malnourished and showed heartbreaking signs of having been used for breeding(pics included). But with love, patience, and care, Heidi blossomed into the most loyal, gentle, and intelligent companion we could’ve asked for.

Today, Heidi is facing a life-threatening emergency. She accidentally swallowed something she shouldn’t have, which caused a serious blockage in her stomach. She’s having emergency surgery today, and the estimated cost is $2,000 — an amount we simply can’t manage on our own right now.

Heidi has been a source of joy, comfort, and emotional support for me. She’s helped me through some of my hardest moments just by being her sweet, silly self. She deserves every chance to survive and thrive.
