It is with tremendous regret to announce the unexpected passing of our beautiful, adventurous, loving Heidi. An adoring mother of two genuinely good-hearted daughters and she was a supportive sister, a captivating & sweet daughter, an aunt always overjoyed to spend quality time with her nieces & nephews, a loyal friend and an advocate for all things of the natural world. Heidi will be laid to rest amongst the golden foothills of the Western Sierra. The mountains were one of the many places she loved to frequent: the sparkling granite rocks, rolling foothills, winding rivers and steep hillsides decorated with wildflowers were just a few of the things she loved and brought her so much joy. Heidi truly had an effervescence for life that was apparent any time you were in her company. Her eyes and heart would light up with any talk about nature, animals, bugs, flowers, stars, and of course, her daughters. She was one of those people who would always have something funny and witty to say about almost anything as her brilliance was as obvious as her beauty both inside and out. Her love, thoughtfulness & adoration extended to her connections with other family and friends, never forgetting a birthday or special event. She was always devising dreams of future adventures, with quite the bucket list of places she wanted to visit, things she wanted to do, and experiences she wished to have.
Of course, with this sudden loss comes the cost of certain expenses. Monetary donations will be given directly to Alyssa and put towards the following: plot cost, tombstone, casket, any other funeral expenses (total cost is unknown at this time, so it is an estimate). ANY extra monies will be split evenly between Alyssa and Kayla. They are both young adults living on their own now. Alyssa just relocated to San Diego to work and thrive. Kayla started at UC Berkeley this year. Both of her daughters were completely adored by her mother and she was always so ecstatic with any and all happenings going on in their lives.
Heidi had an energy that was undeniably tenacious, yet she strived to remain humble and was always open to learning more and more of what this world had to offer. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten. She will always be remembered for her intelligence, wit and mostly her immense love for those she cared deeply for. If you are unable to donate, please just hold space or send lots of love and prayers to her daughters during this difficult time.
Thank you ahead of time.

Funds will be received to me and I will be paying Alyssa personally or any entity/expense she needs me to pay directly.
