On August 11,2025 tragedy struck at the Target store in Austin, TX, when 24-year-old Hector Leopaldo Martinez Machuca lost his life in a senseless shooting.

Hector was more than a victim — he was a devoted son, a hard worker, and a young man with dreams ahead of him. He loved his mother deeply and worked hard every day to help support her. His mom is a single parent who raised him with love, sacrifice, and strength.

Now, she is facing the unimaginable — saying goodbye to her child far too soon. The heartbreak is heavy, and on top of the emotional pain, she is also facing the financial burden of funeral expenses.

El Agosto 11,2025, ocurrió una tragedia en la tienda Target de Austin, TX, cuando Héctor Leopaldo Martínez Machuca, de solo 24 años, perdió la vida en un tiroteo sin sentido.

Héctor era mucho más que una víctima: era un hijo devoto, un trabajador incansable y un joven con muchos sueños por delante. Amaba profundamente a su mamá y trabajaba duro cada día para ayudarla. Su madre es madre soltera y lo crió con amor, sacrificio y fortaleza.

Ahora ella enfrenta lo inimaginable: despedirse de su hijo demasiado pronto. El dolor es inmenso, y además de la tristeza, también enfrenta la carga económica de los gastos funerarios y de entierro.
