Help Hector Return Home

Hello everyone. The friends, family and colleagues of Hector Vazquez, Jeff Somersett and their daughter Claire Somersett are creating this account to help bring Hector home. This incredible family needs our help. While doing his annual trip to Mexico to visit his family, Hector unexpectedly fell very ill. He is currently in very serious condition in a hospital in Mexico. The family wishes to bring Hector home so that he may continue his journey to recovery surrounded by his family and loved ones in the United States. He needs to be in hospital where he can get the excellent care, and where his insurance will pay. Hector’s condition is acute and the only way to bring him home is by air ambulance. We have been in contact with a medical transport company that will be able to get Hector back to the United States. We are asking for help funding this transfer, which will not be covered by insurance. The medical transport company has quoted the family $29,000 upfront. This does not include the expenses of Hector’s stay in the hospital in Mexico, which the family must pay for on a daily basis. We are trying to make this flight happen as quickly as possible. We hope friends, work friends, and family can come together to support Hector, Jeff and Claire. We understand times are tough, so any contribution will be greatly appreciated. No matter how big or small, your contribution matters.
