My name is Orlando Oliver, and I’m fundraising for my lifelong friend and brother by bond, Hector Ramos. We’ve known each other for 52 years — and in all that time, he has never stopped being a protector, a giver, and a man of service. Hector is a U.S. Army Veteran and a hardworking tractor-trailer driver. Right before Christmas, he suffered a sudden heart attack that required emergency surgery. A short time later, he needed an additional procedure. He now faces a long road to recovery and cannot work during this time.

With no income coming in, Hector is now at serious risk of losing his home, falling behind on essential bills, and delaying medical treatment due to financial stress. We are raising funds to help Hector stay stable while he heals, including covering housing and utilities, medication and medical follow-up needs, and essential bills until doctors clear him to return to work.
