We just visited the vet, and while Hecate is in perfect health otherwise, she will need her molars removed. During the surgery they will probe her other teeth to see if any other teeth need to be removed. We were quoted $2000-3000 for the removal (they have a range in case more teeth need to be removed.) This does not include the required blood work. She has insurance, but they don't cover dental for cats over 3 years old and there was no option for a payment plan. I'm putting this out there in case anyone can help contribute. They suggested we get the surgery in the next two months.
If we raise more than the goal and/or they don't have to remove extra teeth I will donate the rest to Halfway Cats NYC. The rescue who saved Hacate from the streets originally.
Any bit can help, and even sharing the gofundme would make a difference. Thank you so much!
