Hebron Colony Ministries' grounds were devastated by the effects of Hurricane Helene.
"We got hammered. Really devastating storm. Most water in my lifetime. The water was almost up to the roof of the pavilion, washed a box truck and ton truck down from the garden to the pavilion. Destroyed our well houses. The whole area is overwhelming and devastating. Trees and powerlines down everywhere. Just pray!!!" - Pastor Don, director of Hebron Colony Ministries.
The picture displayed of the River House, a place where families stay while visiting the men going through the program, and pavilion is after the water started receding. The River House was flooded and needs to be gutted and restored. Both of their well-houses, that supply water to the entire mountain, were destroyed. Because of the power outages and the inability to get water, several of the men had to leave the program before they had completed their 10 weeks.
Both Holly and I have had the privilege to experience the effects of Hebron Colony. The changed lives of our husbands, son, son-in-law, and friends that have come through the program truly represent 2 Corinthians 5:17! They are new creations, full of hope and joy, looking forward to living a life without the bonds of addiction.
Hebron Colony is run on donations.
Please consider donating so that Hebron Colony can invest in equipment needs and urgent repairs.
Hebron Colony has been in existence since 1947, one of the oldest facilities around devoted to the restoration of individuals whose lives have been ravaged by alcohol and drug addiction, and also one of the most successful.
