Help Heba's family to evacuate GAZA

Donation protected
‎‏ My name is Heba Ahmed Al-Khatib, a 23 year-old Gazan girl and the elder sister to my
four brothers in my 7 member family . I am studying medicine at Al-Azhar University in my last year and I was counting the days for my graduation which supposed to be in June. These days, I am trying to go on by volunteering as a doctor in many different healthcare units in order to save innocent lives .

This me Heba

My mum and dad,Najwa Al-khatib and Ahmed Alkhatib, have always worked so hard in order to make our future bright and shiny. My brother, Mohammed, is studying medicine in Egypt at Zagazig University in his fifth year. He is always in worry and fear because it's hard to reach us out during the war.

Another brother, Abdulrahman, is in his fourth year studying engineering at Al-Azhar University. He is also uncertain about his future .
My twin brothers Yahya and Yousef Al-khatib ,they are 16 year old, they are still young and they have alot of dreams that they wish to come true.

Our story began on the evening of October 7th while we were sleeping. Suddenly, a missile struck the street next to our house, filling us with fear and real terror. All of the windows and doors where destroyed into pieces , and my brother’s leg was hurt. We rushed to our parents, unable to sleep at all that night. The next morning, we and our neighbors were in shock. We decided to evacuate our apartment building, afraid of more attacks targeting our area.

‎‏ We sought refuge at a friend's house for a day, but soon after, the entire Rimal neighborhood was evacuated. We hurried to the Shifa complex and spent a night there, which was the toughest night ever. The sounds of explosions and fires didn't stop for a second, all happening in our neighborhood. The journey of displacement and suffering didn't end there. The worst part was when we had to leave our beloved city, Gaza, forcibly.

‎‏ We fled southward without belongings, clothes, or transportation. We ended up in Nuseirat refuge camp for about a month, then Khan Younis for fifteen days, and finally Rafah, where we still are, staying at a shelter provided by UNRWA. facing harsh conditions, fear ,hunger and bad hygiene.
‎‏Every place we went to was a target for the air strikes, there is no safe place in Gaza.

We lost our home, an apartment in the Rida building in northern Rimal, on the seventy-fourth day of the war. we have lived there for only seven months. The video of the explosion was published by the occupation forces and they where showing off. Watching it , my family were in shock because of the massive destruction .
The whole street and buildings were bombed. Everything we owned and all our cherished have been destroyed . This was the most disappointing thing that has ever happened to our family who were counting the days to go back to our beautiful home.

I am raising this fundraiser in order to evacuate my family out of Gaza and to start a new secure life in a new home. By your support I can also finish my last medical year as a visitor student abroad. My brothers can continue their education too. Every donation even if it is little can make a big difference.
