My name is Kyra and I am trying to raise some money to help my little sister Heaven with her bills and other expenses that may come up. She is 34 years old and has been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer for a little over 2 years. She has been having a hard time lately with going in and out of the hospital. She is currently in the Cardiac ICU having a hard time breathing.

Last Friday, she was taken to the local hospital by ambulance, having a hard time breathing. They ended up having to sedate her to intubate her. She was having a hard time with fluid in her lungs and fighting the ventilator, so they temporarily paralyzed her. For a week, she fought through high blood pressure, her oxygen going back and forth, her body having too much fluid on it and then not enough. She is still sedated but not paralyzed anymore. They had to give her an aggressive diuretic today because she had so much fluid in her body she couldn't get rid of that it would've drowned her if they did nothing.

It's been a lot of work for Heaven this last week and she has more hurdles to overcome. As her family, we have learned that she is behind on bills and isn't in a good financial spot. So, I would like to help raise some money to help keep her utilities on for if she gets to come home, and make sure her health insurance is paid so she doesn't lose coverage, and for any other expenses that may arise in the future. We weren't expecting her to end up in the hospital like this suddenly and were in the process of getting everything in order for the future.

She's a big-hearted person who has tried making what time she has left with her family great and making memories that everyone will remember. But also, in doing so, she put herself in a position that she needs some help. We are trying to think of ways that we can all help get her caught up, and if she does come home, that she won't have to worry about her finances for a little bit.
