For 24 years, Heaven Lee Hytes has been more than a performer — she has been a pillar of Toronto’s drag and queer community.

Night after night, year after year, Heaven Lee has shown up. She has uplifted baby queens finding their footing, offered advice, shelter, laughter, and love to those who needed it most. She has been a mentor, a sister, a confidant, and a beacon of resilience in spaces where simply existing can be an act of courage.

Now, Heaven Lee needs our help.

As a trans woman, Heaven Lee has spent her life putting others first; often at the expense of her own needs. She is finally ready to take an important step in her transition: gender-affirming breast augmentation surgery. This surgery is not cosmetic. It is essential care. Care that affirms who she is and allows her to live in her body with dignity, confidence, and peace.

Like many trans people, Heaven Lee does not have easy access to financial safety nets. Performers in our community rarely do. Yet Heaven Lee has been the safety net for others; offering unconditional support when no one else would.
