!! UPDATE !! December 2nd- 1 month old!

Update on Baby Aaron

I wanted to share a little update on how Aaron is doing. Our sweet boy is now a month old, and he continues to show so much strength every single day. His brain bleed has resolved but we still aren’t 100% in the clear for other developmental delays in our future, which is such a blessing. The doctors are keeping a close eye on him, but for now we are holding on to every good piece of news and every small victory he gives us.

Being here with him in the NICU has meant the world to me, and I will be staying by his side through Christmas. It’s been an emotional and unpredictable journey, but Aaron is fighting, growing, and proving how tough he really is.

I cannot thank you all enough for the love, donations, prayers, and support you’ve shown us. Your kindness is helping me stay here with him, easing the financial strain, and giving us room to breathe during such a hard time. I am truly, deeply grateful.

Please keep Aaron in your thoughts as he continues to heal and grow. Your support means more than I can ever put into words.

Baby Aaron is doing great! He’s gained some weight since birth! Little progress is big progress for us!

He was switched to a regular ventilator that only breaths for him if he needs it (switched about 24 hrs after delivery), and very rarely does he need it! That’s probably the best news yet!

Since birth, he was born with no heart beat, and they had to do CPR 2 X and finally he was able to have a stable heartbeat and was able to be transferred to the NICU floor from the OR.

This morning 5:36 am Nov. 4th-

They put a EKG on his head to monitor his brain. He had some movements that correlated with his blood pressure, they’ll just monitor him with that for today or whenever they feel comfortable taking it off. He reacts to me and Damon! He will grab my finger and hold it steadily, he will scrunch his toes when people touch his feet, he is such a warrior! He is so loved by everyone and taken care of by the best, we are so thankful!

I will be getting discharged Thursday afternoon, and from there I will be staying at the Ronald McDonald house just across the street. Please don’t be afraid to reach out and ask to come see us.

We really can’t do anything but touch little Aaron right now, probably a few more days until we can really hold him, we don’t know. We are always up for visitors just make sure y’all text one of us and keep us in the loop when you’ll be coming by!

Hi! I’m Jenni Eckart, Heaven Zuehlsdorff oldest sister and I decided to start a go fund me page for my sister as late last night, around midnight, Heaven went into preterm labor. She was first taken to Miles City and then flown to Billings St. Vincent’s (now Intermountain Health), where she will remain until their little one arrives. The doctors are hopeful that they can keep him safely growing until at least 34 weeks.

I’m currently waiting on details about her hospital room and will share that information once I have it. I’m putting this together to help support her, Damon and the kids during this time, as she will likely be out of work through February 2026.
