Help Heather's Fight Against Cancer

Heather is a friend to everyone and we adore her so much! Heather is a mom of three. Twin girls and a sweet little boy. She works tirelessly to help our school continue to run smoothly and successfully. Heather is a saving grace, a best friend to everyone, and a light in our day.

Heather was diagnosed in March of 2024 with a rare and aggressive cancer that affects less than 1% of people diagnosed with cancer. She is one of 2 patients diagnosed with this cancer at MD Anderson in Houston. She had an emergency hysterectomy and negative biopsy that showed cancer tumors. She has completed a total of 12 rounds of chemo. The cancer she thought she beat unfortunately returned in October of 2024. She continues to battle with constant treatments, pain meds and multiple hospital stays.

Heather is hoping for her miracle and has a chance for surgery in Austin in the next couple of weeks. Times are hard for this single mom and staying in a hotel room for a week after surgery is not affordable at this time. It is important to have the surgery as soon as possible with it being the best chance to get the tumors out.
