I have fallen behind three months on my rent, utilities, and storage fees. My vehicle is also on its last leg and in desperate need of repairs. A combination of quickly declining health and a recent death in my family has left me struggling to keep our heads above water. I am a single mother to a wonderful son and three dogs. For over 20 years, I ran a housekeeping business, but the physical toll of that work—combined with Type 1 Diabetes, Neuropathy in my legs, feet, and hands, and Carpal Tunnel—has made it impossible to continue. It is now painful to even stand for more than two minutes, and I find it difficult to perform daily activities.

The funds raised will go directly toward catching up on my rent and utilities to ensure my son and I have a stable home. It will also allow me to repair my vehicle so I can get to medical appointments and handle our family’s needs. This support would give me the breathing room to focus on my health and my family during an incredibly humbling and difficult season of life.
