Help Heather's Family in Geoff's Recovery

Donation protected
Hey all! I’m trying to start a fund for my Aunt Heather. Her husband had a hemorrhagic stroke on the 4th of July. Due to the excessive bleeding, he had to have a craniotomy to drain it. As of now, on 7/8/24, he is still in the neuroscience ICU. He is responding and having conversation but with some delayed response time. He is flaccid on the left side, but today he was able to feel deep pressure when applied to the foot and hand, followed by pulling away from the pain. As far as him following commands to lift the limbs, he wasn’t able to. But with many prayers and the help of the medical team, we will overcome this. Recovery is different for all, but with the quick response and consideration of his young age, we are hoping to see fast recovery.

All that being said, my aunt is seeking mercy and selfless love from others to help her in this time of hardship. My Uncle Geoff was the only source of income. They are raising 5 children from ages 14 to 2, with two of the youngest requiring extra care. Both of them have no parents any longer for 4 have passed away and 1 has dementia, therefore due to the cost of childcare, she stays at home with the kids to keep afloat. So if you feel led, I ask that you would help them in preparation for the following months until Geoff is able to function to a new normal to help provide once again for the family.
