Help Heather's Daughter Get a Life-Saving Service Dog

Hello,

My name is Heather Frank and I'm raising funds for a service dog for my 12-year-old daughter. She suffers from severe and complicated medical conditions, including a metabolic disorder, seizures, and debilitating migraines, and has been hospitalized over 40 times in her short life.

We are looking into getting a dog and having it trained in particular to alert for ketones as she often goes into non-diabetic ketoacidosis and by the time it is caught, it is in the severe stages. A service dog would be life-changing for her as it would allow us to catch these episodes at an earlier stage and allow us to treat for and hopefully avoid so many hospitalizations.

Due to me being a single parent and my daughter's severe chronic conditions, I am often out of work without pay due to multiple specialist visits for her as well as when she is sick or hospitalized, making it more difficult to put together the money for this on my own. Any little bit could help make a huge difference in my child's life.
