Help Heather Save Milo: Urgent Vet Care Needed
Donation protected
Hello friends, families, and those who may not know me. I’m Jessie, but I am writing on behalf of a wonderful friend and person, Heather Sylvia.
Heather is an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Massachusetts who dedicates her time to caring for others in the highest pressure situations. She is selfless and caring. In a string of unfortunate events, Heather has asked that I share this message on her behalf.
Milo is my 7-year-old orange tabby. Unfortunately, he has been admitted to the veterinary ICU for a urinary obstruction, which is a life-threatening illness if untreated. Furthermore, he has experienced complications now requiring an extensive surgery and a 5-day long hospital stay at minimum.
I never thought I would have to resort to this, but after undergoing some significant life changes, I need all the help I can get. I have pet insurance that will only cover up to $5,000, but the estimated cost is going to be at least $12,000. If you know me, you know that Milo is my rock. I’ve had him since he was 3 months old. If you’ve ever owned a pet, you understand that they become family. At Milo’s age and otherwise healthy status, it would be inhumane (and unfathomable) to consider euthanasia as he has many years to live and I need him more than ever right now.
If you can help in any way, any amount of a donation will be helpful. I’ll even take words of encouragement at this point. And if you can’t donate, please share this link to all of your friends and family to spread the word. I sincerely thank you for your consideration.
With love,
Jessie, Heather, and Milo
