Help Heather Provide for Her Ailing Mom

Heather Leonardi needs our help to take care of her mom, Valerie.

Heather lives in New York City, and runs her own business (DogNerdNYC). The past couple weeks, she has been down in Orlando, FL trying to take care and make medical decisions for her mom, Valerie. Valerie's health has been failing, and she recently suffered a catastrophic episode, and now she is in an emergent position where it is no longer safe to live at home and she must be admitted into a care facility.

Along with the emotional stress of taking care of an ailing parent, Heather is also trying to sort through her mom's home, finances and medical history. In order to be declared her mother's advocate and proxy, she has had to hire a lawyer.

Right now, Heather really needs help. Obviously, being with her mother is where she needs to be, but that means she is unable to work and take care of her life up in New York City.
