Help Heather McMillan Battle Multiple Cancers

Donation protected
I'm launching this GoFundMe campaign for my wife, Heather McMillan, who has shown unwavering resilience in the face of adversity. Since her initial diagnosis in 2016, Heather has bravely battled a 2 1/2 inch mass on her right temporal lobe, undergoing an eight-hour surgery to remove it. In 2020, she suffered a grand mal seizure, leading to a 12-hour surgery, and was subsequently diagnosed with stage three astrocytoma, a type of brain cancer. Despite the challenges she's faced, including two brain infections, the removal of chemo wafers, and months of antibiotics, Heather's determination has remained unshaken. She continued to work from home, even as her health declined, and eventually sought a second opinion at Duke University, where she was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma with necrosis. Over the past two years, Heather has been bedridden, relying on me as her caregiver. We've had to adapt to a new reality, living off her disability, and facing numerous medical expenses. Recently, Heather's health took a turn for the worse, and she was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, a bone/blood cancer. Despite the setbacks, Heather remains a beacon of hope, inspiring those around her with her courage and selflessness. I'm reaching out for support to help alleviate the financial burdens we're facing, including medical expenses, transportation costs, and bills. Any contribution would be a testament to Heather's unwavering spirit and a reminder that, together, we can overcome even the most daunting challenges. Thank you for considering this request, and I wish you all the best.
