Fighting Like Hell for Heather
Back in February, our lives changed when my sister, Heather, was diagnosed with cancer. She is the strongest woman I know—the kind of person who is always the first to help others but the last to ever ask for help herself. Because she’s such a proud soul, it took a lot of convincing to get her to let us do this, but she needs her village right now.
On April 20th, Heather underwent an incredibly extensive surgery to remove the cancer and reconstruct the right side of her jaw. She is recovering beautifully so far, but the road ahead is long. In July, she begins the next phase of her fight: chemotherapy and radiation.
Because of the intensity of her surgery and upcoming treatments, it is unclear when Heather will be able to return to work. Our goal is to take the weight of bills and medical costs off her shoulders so she can focus 100% of her energy on kicking cancer’s ass.
We are asking for donations to help cover her living expenses and treatment costs during this time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this post to help spread the word.
We truly appreciate every single one of you. Let's help Heather fight like hell!!!!
