Help Heather keep riding
Donation protected
I'm trying to help a friend Heather Laskos. She's a Facebook friend who inspires me to keep moving even when my pain is raging and I am feeling depressed and down. I get out on my trike everyday because of her.

I know there's enough of us out here in Facebook land that care and can help. I also know there's probably even more that care but don't have the financial means and that's OK too. Either way send her some prayers.
I met Heather on Dogs On Trikes. She takes her little dog Pepe for rides everyday and her and her family ride all over and do bike packing camping trips.
As I followed her adventures online I began to understand how much drive, strength and courage she really has. I knew she had issues with her knees so she had to find an alternative to her mtn bike. I'm not sure which order she got her different style of bikes but she's tried a handcycle, recumbent and a strider.
Now I understand. It's not just her knees but all of her joints. She's trying to keep moving and is unwilling to curl up in pain and give up. She's been switching back and forth between the different styles of bike trying to not overdue it but has finally reached the point she can't do it anymore.
She found the MOJO Caddy Pro. With this trike she would be able to keep riding for many years. She lives in Pennsylvania so the winters are long and brutal. This trike with the big tires, the electric assit and all three tires are powered will make riding in the snow much more doable. It looks like only the front is e-assist so she can turn it on when her knees have had enough.
I suggest if she sells her other bikes she should have most of what she needs. She will be donating them to charity.

Thank you.
