Hi, my name is Tera, and I'm fundraising for my beautiful friend, Heather(pictured here with my kids at my son's birthday party.) This amazing human has suffered for years with a rare type of brain tumor that threatened to push her eye from its socket. After years of fatigue and discomfort, Heather was finally able to receive the surgery to remove the tumor. However, the tumor's position, wrapped around her optic nerve, made surgery long and difficult. The surgeon was able to leave Heather's eye intact, but now radiation is necessary to remove the rest of the tumor from this inoperable place. Heather is unable to work during radiation, and must have a place to stay near the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as transportation to and from her radiation. If she is unable to secure the funds necessary, she will have to postpone this important treatment. Please help us get this brave and wonderful woman the help she needs to heal, and put what remains of this tumor behind her.
