Heather and I have always been inseparable—she’s my identical twin and truly the other half of me. Recently, our world was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. The doctor told us it’s aggressive and high risk because it's already spread to a lymph node, which means her treatment will start right away. We’re both scared, but I’m doing my best to be strong for her & support her however I can.

Heather chose the more aggressive chemo option, and while she has insurance, it won’t cover nearly enough. The bills are already piling up, and we’re worried about how we’ll manage rent and everyday expenses on top of the medical costs. It’s just the two of us, and we’re doing everything we can, but it’s not enough. I’ve never done anything like this before, but I know we need help.
